About
The GrowSmarter project was one of three projects chosen from over 19 submissions to receive support from the European Commission’s ‘Smart cities and communities’ Horizon 2020 funding call.
GrowSmarter brings together cities and industry to integrate and demonstrate ‘12 smart city solutions’ in energy, infrastructure and transport, to provide other cities with valuable insights on how they work in practice and opportunities for replication. The idea is to create a ready market for these smart solutions to support growth and the transition to a smart, sustainable Europe.
The project runs from 01.01.2015 until 31.12.2019. This project has received €25 million in funding under Horizon2020
