Gregory Schaumburg is a senior designer with Hursthouse Landscape Architects and Contractors. He focuses his efforts intently on residential design, with an emphasis on creative small scale solutions that are both functional and memorable. His love of nature, design, and merging hardscape and planting elements permeates his work. Gregory is a “transplanted East Coast native,” and has lived in the Midwest since completing his Landscape Architecture degree at the Pennsylvania State University. He has enjoyed sharing various research and design explorations at venues including MidAm, ILCA design seminars, the Chicago Botanic Garden, and the Morton Arboretum
