Initially, Greg had planned to enter
the hospitality industry, as he grew
up in a family of hoteliers and grad-
uated with a degree in hospitality
management from The Ohio State
University. While he cannot imagine
himself in any other business besides
the reverse mortgage industry today,
he is grateful for his experience in

on as a loan originator in Chicago
during his younger years. Within a
short time, he was manager at a well-
known firm, and has continued to

service experience. Greg’s customer

problem-solving skills. “Every sales
professional needs to have problem
solving skills in order to effectively

Greg, that means one must have
these three key qualities: the ability
to think critically, people skills, and

of a problem without letting emotions
get in the way, is able to ask the right
questions to his customers and come
up with definitive answers to solve an
issue. It is these characteristics that
help him grow and separate from the

“I analyze the situation, identify the
solution and properly deliver,” Greg
says. When a client works with him,
they can expect any issues to be han-
dled up front and for their questions
to be answered fully prior to their
reverse mortgage counseling. “That’s
always the first step, being able to
answer those questions up front so
all is comfortable. Knowledge cer-
tainly gives me an edge.” Greg aims
for his clients to understand the en-
tire process, so they feel comfortable
and stress-free through-out the trans-
action.

are still responsible for taxes and
insurance) or creating a line of credit
can be so gratifying. It is life changing
to cash out some of the equity in
their home to help them enjoy their
retirement years.”
