2. The 30 acre lake sits in the middle of over 150 private, gated acres
and will be developed with an eye towards environmental and
wildlife friendly existence. Due to the size of the lake, it will be
non-motorized to ensure a lifetime of peaceful solitude set right against the boundary of the Blackfoot/
Clearwater Game Range. Year around access will be provided by the Homeowners Association so whether you
want to celebrate Christmas, have a family reunion on the 4th
of July, or use as the perfect hunting base camp,
Emerald Lake will be ready for your needs. Hundreds of square miles of non-motorized public lands surround

Emerald Lake is a deep, natural, glacial pot-hole type of
mountain lake supplied by an enormous inflow of natural
groundwater. It is suspected that glacial mineral deposits
give the lake’s gin-clear waters their unusual and beautiful
green hue. Along with its pristine waters, Emerald Lake will
be “Green” in many other aspects, including building being
done by Charter Construction Inc, one of Montana’s few
“Energy Star Builders”. All of our new construction will be
architecturally designed to maximize the owner’s individual
tastes and to minimize impact on wildlife and view sheds.
Along with road maintenance, Homeowner Association
dues will be utilized to improve the existing fishery, with
an eye towards creating and maintaining a trophy trout
population. The property is privacy jack-leg fenced along

privacy, the access gates will be motorized, with “garage
door clicker” type of remote controls to protect individual
