Creating a
Contract
Grace Crawford, EPQ, Mr
Bishop
Introduction
To begin my artefact, I need to construct a contract in order to lay
out the agreement to inform my subject of what he shall be
expecting within the next 6 months. Its important that I inform my
subject, as well as supervisor of my intended actions to give them
an idea of my experiment, the purposes for this and what shall be
gathered as way of evidence for the experiment. With all this, I shall
inform my subject of my expectations from him, as well as the
expectations he is to expect off of myself. That way my subject,
supervisor and myself would have a knowledgeable idea of the
proposed experiment, and what our expectations are to be enforced
throughout the six months in time.
Within this PowerPoint, I shall be looking up how to construct a
successful contract for my EPQ artefact experiment, an dhow I
should write up an effective piece of writing suitable for my topic,
and to be signed by the percipients involved within the experiment.
Definition of the word: Contract
A contract provides a legal binding agreement,
for both the experiment conductor and subject.
It outlines the intended actions of the
experiment as well as expectations for the
intended experiment.
Looking for Ideas…
I initially started exploring how to write up contracts
upon Google, using the internet as a form of quick
research and reliable searches to help me construct the
contract. I was offered many links towards writing up
one, and allowed myself to read up on producing an
effective one for myself to use for the purposes of my
project.
Layout for my Contract:
- Summarise Proposed Experiment
- - When and Where
- - Experiment Purpose
- Study Procedures
- - Permission Form
- - Contacts of Percipients (Subject, Supervisor
and Experiment Conductee)
- - Signatures/Dates

different suggestions, depending on the format I needed and my project. So
I gained much insight into how I can successfully create my own one.
