ARC Enterprise BI is a comprehensive performance management product for
retail decision makers. ARC's role-based analytic applications are designed to
help merchandisers, planners, allocators, buyers and customer service
managers. Sales, Merchandising, Customer Analytics, Marketing and
Promotions Analytics, Product Affinity and Market Basket Analytics, Planning
and Budgeting Analytics, Vendor, Loss Prevention are some of the features in
ARC. ARC has 3 major application modules like below
 ARC Analyst: ARC has lot of predefined KPIs for all the modules.
ARC supports multi-dimensional analyses of critical data reporting
and allows creating new reports or customizing existing, adding to
favourites, download as PDF/Excel. Actionable components allow
emailing Reports and setting up scheduled and event-based
reporting. Report outputs can be burst and distributed across to
individuals through emails. Alerts for critical events or define rules
for alerts to be triggered on the basis of certain metrics.
 ARC Dashboard: ARC dashboards give the flexibility to view the
reports in grids and graph (flash) portlet formats. Also allows
configuring the layout, graphs, filters, Business questions, Report
schedules and Alerts. Since it uses the Liferay framework, users can
drag and drop the portlets inside the layout easily.
 ARC administration: Administrator has the capability to manage
security of information with differential access being granted to
users on the basis of their role. ARC features and functionalities can
be managed strictly. Data management and transparency against
hierarchies within the organization. Privileges to view customize
data, modifying or deleting existing KPIs can hence be restricted at
various levels.

Paris Compliance Portal – MUST (SocieteGeneraleGlobal Solution

Paris Compliance is a web portal, known as MUST(Monitoring
Unusual and Suspected Trades), for monitoring the unusual
and suspected trade done in the Euro Stock market.
I was involved in the design and development of the Work
Flow module for this portal.
This module allows the Compliance Officer to add comments,
attach documents and change the status of each record in the
report.
It also has the flexibility of changing the column display, multi-
sorting, filtering and exporting the report to MS Excel.
The portal was designed using JSP pages using CSS style
sheets.
The design followed the MVC architecture where the JSP’s were
used as the front-end, Servlets as the controller and simple
java classes to access the database using JDBC.

There are various compliance rules (33 rules for 3 Business
lines – DEAI, GIBD, DEFI) are been implemented in Euro
market which came into practice since 2005 Jan.
Using these business rules, we have developed PLSQL
procedures for scanning all the trade and orders (roughly
around 2 laks per day) done in the market from SG’s traders.
The Trades and Orders which does not fall in to these rules are
generated as exceptions.
Hence these Trade and Orders along with their referential data
are stored in separate table as exceptions and sent to front
end for Compliance Officers view.

performance of the employees of Kaiser Permanente IT
Division.
This maintains a hierarchy of users such as SysAdmin, HR,
Manager and an employee.
The performance appraisal would be done during the sec ond
(Mid-Year) and during the fourth quarter (Annual). Based on
the percentage of the employees’ performance, the
compensation appraisal would be done.
I was involved in the enhancement of phase III and
maintenance of the whole project.
