I was born and have lived most of my life in Tehran, Iran; although we (me and my family) travel a lot. I've also visited Vancouver, Canada and Mar del Plata, Argentina; the latter during the 53rd International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). I was accepted (ranked 2nd in the entrance exam) to the ATCCE high school Advanced division, which was (and still is) devoted to preparing students for scientific olympiads (and that was were I met my best friend, Artin Spiridonoff, who has shaped a lot of who I am today). I went on to win the silver and gold medals of the National Mathematical Olympiad, and the bronze medal of the IMO in 2010, 2011 and 2012, respectively. Meanwhile, I enjoyed playing...
