1. Wild rodeo ride
MORE than 2000 people gathered at
McDonald Park on Saturday night
to witness some spectacular bull
and bronc riding as the 2016 Truck
Factory Mount Gambier Rodeo leapt
into action.
With riders coming from across
the country to compete in the annual
event, the talent on show did not
disappoint.
The rodeo was dominated by South
Australian Tom Willoughby, who
managed to take home a clean sweep
as winner of both the open bull ride
and open bareback event.
With a range of local and visiting
riders testing their luck against
some of the best bulls and broncs in
the country, the show organised by
Woodall Rodeo Promotions and East
Gambier Sportsmen’s Club created
a spectacle that thrilled the large
crowd.
Factory FMX rider Josh Burdon
brought a different aspect to the
adrenaline-fuelled event with his
motorbike stunts entertaining the
crowd throughout the evening.
