Tracey Train began a two-week work placement at R Collins & Co Insurance Brokers in 1985 as a teenager and is now the owner after working her way up in the company for 31 years, starting as an office junior and becoming office manager and then partner. On December 22, 2015, Tracey became the owner of R Collins & Co, realizing her long-time goal after first entering the company as a high school student on a short work placement.

New Owner for R Collins & Co
From a teenager on a two week work placement in 1985 to the business owner in 2016, Tracey Train now
Director and Owner, first stepped through the doors of R Collins & Co Insurance Brokers in Castleford thirty
one years ago.
In 1985 Tracey, who attended Castleford High School at the time, completed her two weeks work experience
at the small insurance brokers. Tracey expanded her duties at R Collins & Co as she then became the
‘Saturday girl’ helping with filing and paperwork within the office. This evolved into Tracey taking on her first
full time employment within the company as Office Junior in 1986 when she left school.
As the years passed Tracey worked her way up to the role of Office Manager in 2003 and in 2010 took a
career leap and became a Partner in the company.
Tracey’s continued efforts and dedication to the business paid off on 22nd December 2015 as she became
the owner of R Collins & Co. Tracey is “thrilled” to have accomplished so much, remarking she is “excited
about the future”.
