3. When is the Ontario General Election?
The Ontario General Election is on June 7th, 2018. This year, you can vote:
● in person before election day at your election office from May 10 until June 6 at 6pm.
● in person before election day at an advance voting location from May 26 to May 30
● in person on election day on June 7
Additionally, you can vote by special ballot, either in person, by mail, by home visit or
through the hospital program.

4. Am I eligible to vote?
You can vote anytime from May 10 to June 7th!
To be eligible to vote in an Ontario election, you must be 18 years of age or older,
a Canadian citizen, and a resident of Ontario.

By phone: You can call 1-888-668-8683 for more information.
In person: We have a volunteer in the Owen Sound campaign office who can help
you check online and see if you’re registered. Stop by 155 8th St East to access
this free service. It only takes a minute!

take to vote?
To vote, you will need to bring
identification that shows your name
and current residential address.
If you are on the Voters List, bring
your Voter Information Card and a
piece of identification that shows
your name.
If you are not on the Voters List,
bring a piece of identification that
shows both your name and
residential address.

7. Can I vote before June 7th?
You can search for your advance polling station on the Elections Ontario website:

Or, if you are voting in the Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound riding, you can stop by our
campaign office at 155 8th St East in Owen Sound or call us at (519) 371-1941.

8. Where do I go to vote on June 7th?
If you choose to wait until Election Day to vote, you should receive your Voter
Information Card in the mail.
If you do not receive one, please contact the Elections Ontario office nearest you
to ensure that you are registered to vote. You can also stop by our campaign
office and a volunteer will help you check online to see if you’re registered.
