Maryland-based network engineer Forrest McIlwain amassed more than 30 years of experience before his retirement. Beginning his career with his enlistment with the United States Army, Forrest McIlwain was tasked with the supervision of signal equipment at a missile site, while also supervising a team of five other servicemen. Upon the completion of his service with the Army, Forrest McIlwain garnered experience in television repair before moving into a role as a senior field engineer with Modular Computer Systems, Inc. In this capacity, he provided hardware support for 24-hour operations to the military and other federal organizations.
