About
Fiyaz Mughal does his best to create acceptance for racial and religious diversity. He was born in Uganda, and at an early age he found out how much race can matter. His family had to flee the country when Idi Amin singled out the Asian population of Uganda for sometimes violent persecution, and they found refuge in the UK. After a six month stay in the UK, they returned to Africa, where Mr. Mughal was able enjoy the relative peace of Nairobi.
Fiyaz Mughal went on to teach, before finding a voice in community service. In 2006 he founded Faith Matters, and has worked to create respect in the UK for all races and creeds.
