I have a fierce passion for human rights and environmental justice which is why I study water policy and governance. It pains me to know there are people who do not have access to the very basic of necessities. I believe that through incremental changes in collective decision-making processes, equality and equity will prevail. Practicing science humbles my perspective to think about the order and logic of the world around us and to identify the processes that will foster justice. I also believe that our interpersonal relationships impact our individual decisions and for this reason, I am always trying to improve my communication and help others improve, as long as my advice is sought.
