At present, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Technology and Society, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at State University of New York (SUNY), Korea. I received my PhD from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in the Department of Engineering & Public Policy, with a focus on technology and development in the South Asian region.
My principal research interests encompass techno-economic analyses of ICT interventions, impact assessment of Social Media, Net Freedom, Privacy, and ICT/Telecom regulatory environments in emerging markets. Before SUNY Korea, I worked as a founding faculty in Asian University for Women in Bangladesh and also taught in Carnegie Me..
