Over my 25 years in publishing I’ve seen many great books fail due to weak marketing and promotion. With all of the rules of publishing being re-written every day, a new approach to marketing must be developed and deployed. We see the seeds of it already. Social media, community building, crowd sourcing, and the creation of the personal brand are the new marketing strategies.
