When Dr. Eduard Hutabarat and Katharina Sihombing
decided to pursue a network marketing business, 4Life®
was their first choice. “I don’t know what advantages
other companies provide,” shared Eduard, “but I
know for sure that 4Life is one of a kind. We both feel

Prior to building a 4Life business, Eduard worked as a
medical doctor. While this career offered him financial
success, he couldn’t really share it with others.

“Being a doctor was a noble occupation because I

members. I have personally achieved a new rank five

WONDERFUL
CHILDHOODS
Eduard and Katharina enjoyed great childhoods that
helped shape them into the people they have become
today. Eduard was born into a big family. His father
worked as a security guard, and his mother was a
housewife. His favorite activities included flying kites
and playing soccer.
Katharina is the second of four children. Her father
worked as a civil servant, and her mother was a
housewife. Growing up, Katharina loved helping
her mother. After school, she often washed dishes
and ironed clothes. “I loved doing chores because
my mother would often give me pocket money as a
reward,” she shared, smiling.
Both Eduard and Katharina had dreams to become
successful adults. As children, Eduard imagined himself
as a farmer and Katharina dreamed of becoming a
housewife or a teacher. Their childhoods taught them
the value of commitment and hard work. These dreams
have turned into something much greater with 4Life®
.

Throughout his life, Eduard has celebrated both
small and extraordinary achievements. “My greatest
achievement was asking Rina to be my wife. I also felt
a great sense of accomplishment when I became the
first person in my family to earn a university degree.
This made my family very proud.” Eduard also

best opportunities to bounce back to the top.” Eduard
commented, “When I remembered this, I gained the
strength to tackle the obstacles and frustrations in
my path.”
Eduard and Katharina want to pass a legacy of faith
on to all of their team members. Eduard remarked,
“Whenever they think about us, I hope they realize
that if we can do it, they can do it. I want them to
remember that the decisions we make today will affect
