Students collaborate to
structurally analyze and create a
hull design, choose the best
concrete mix, construct a mold,
pore, sand, and color their canoe
and compete in 5 races.
SEISMIC
Students study earthquake
engineering in oreder to design and
build a five-foot-tall balsa wood
structure which will be tested
against 3 different earthquakes of
varying strength and length.
