Quintessentially English is an expat lifestyle and travel blog, started as a way to share the experiences of my life as an American expat in England. It continues to grow in popularity and maintains an active and growing readership.
From driving on the left to solving everything with a cup of tea, there are a lot of things a girl from Las Vegas needs to learn about the habits and customs of the English.
I am an American expat originally from fabulous Las Vegas. In 2009, I studied abroad in Pau, France where I met my future husband, an Englishman named Luke.
After graduating from university in the United States, I moved to England and launched the blog, Quintessentially English, combining my passions for travel, food, language, literature, film, culture, and writing.
In my 9-to-5 life I am a digital marketing professional with experience in events, content and social media marketing. I am also an experienced public speaker, recently giving a talk on using social media for business to 150+ international attendees at a leadership conference in Cyprus.
The reason Erin’s blog is interesting is because it’s real. It’s not about other people or faraway made up experience but a unique and genuine perspective on being an expat… Dan, United Kingdom
Erin's blog beautifully captures the expat experience. She expresses the challenges and charm of following your heart, wherever that may be!
Kate, United States

Quintessentially English is a wicked cool blog run by a wicked cool, world-class writer, Erin Moran. When I wanted to spread my message to a wider audience, she topped my list of people to contact. Her professionalism, pizzaz, and down-to-earth charisma are tough to match. Work with her. You won't be sorry. John Beede, Acclaimed Author & Motivational Speaker
