What is No Man’s Land
 Represented the area of ground between
  opposing armies trenches



 The composition of No Man’s Land
  changed rapidly
Night Time in the Land
• During the night, The opposing sides
  would venture into No Man’s Land were
  they spied on the enemy and repaired
  barbwire.
Morning Hate
• The soldiers stood on the trenches with
  their rifles loaded and bayonet fixed.
• They relieved tension by firing their
  machine guns and artillery shells.
• Usually lasted about 30 minutes to an hr.
