to improve the quality of life for the user,
and it can have ancillary benefits to
others. Things are no different in the

4. What is medical technology
"Medical technology, which is a proper subset of health technology, encompasses a wide
range of healthcare products and is used to diagnose, monitor or treat diseases or medical
conditions affecting humans. Such technologies (applications of medical science) are
intended to improve the quality of healthcare delivered through earlier diagnosis, less
invasive treatment options and reductions in hospital stays and rehabilitation times."

5. Life before technology and medicine combined overall
• Life before technology and the art of healing came together we were
definitely in trouble. Sicknesses that wiped out millions and the
thousands of unknown causes of death, we moved forward and never
looked back.Technology has become a huge part in the medical field and
has helped with thousands of treatments and unknown cases solved. It
was a scary time before having little to no help with medical concerns
and before any technology came to help us in a serious time of need.
6. Medical technology timeline
ThisVideo is long but well worth the watch, it talks about all the different medical
technologies and 200 years of development!
7. 20th century technology and science
The best improvement during the 20th Century:
People tend to believe that the science of Biomedical changed health for the
overall public during this time. (this is also great for the developing
countries at this time for their countries people and keeping them healthy
and happy) This was a great time for the vast and growing knowledge of
Biomedical technology. Over many years the aging of People have increased
dramatically since the 1950's.

These are the Technologies they are planning to introduce in the future:
• 1. "Cutting Back on Melanoma Biopsies"
• 2. "Electronic Aspirin"
• 3. "Needle-Free Diabetes Care"
• 4. "Robotic Checkups"
• 5. " A Valve Job With Heart"

11. Medical technology innovations cont'd
The newTechnologies in a nutshell: Having more knowledge of technology in the medical
field means getting down to the answer and it's solution. As they develop bigger and better
technologies to use for our medical treatment and curiosity they are also solving a lot of
different concerns with healthcare, they cut wait times, putting paitents at ease, and giving
doctors more ways to help their clients and paitents.
