Group therapy was found to be effective in reducing the fear of public stigma among guardians of children living with HIV/AIDS in Outapi district. The study investigated 7 guardians through pre-and post-interviews to assess the impact of a group therapy program. The findings showed that stigma is a major challenge for guardians who fear judgment and rejection from disclosing their child's HIV status. However, participation in the therapy group helped the guardians develop new coping skills to address stigma and better care for the children. The research highlights the need for more support programs for guardians coping with HIV/AIDS stigma in their community.
