● Christ’s Lutheran Church (Oreland, PA) Community Garden Volunteer, 2014 present
○ Assisted with the implementation of a Community Garden program. Designed and installed a rainwater harvesting
system and a drip irrigation system. Sixteen raisedbed garden plots are farmed by parishioners and community
members with 10% of each families' harvest donated to a local food pantry.
● Heifer International (Rutland, MA) Culinary Coordinator, May August 2003
○ Provided farmbased meals and education regarding how international sustainable farming practices impact a family's
food availability for volunteer groups at Heifer's Overlook Farm. Coordinated "Global Getaway" program in which
groups spend a night in the Global Village to experience creating a meal and problem solving with limited resources.
