History of the Philippine's Finest Courier
Company
• Founded in 1945, in which every country was
devastated by World War II
• LBC (or Luzon Brokerage Company) was first
founded as a brokerage and air cargo agent
• LBC was then expanded into a forwarding
service provider, specializing in air cargo
•LBC's first business procedures were to dispatch
shipments via asset-based carriers and books or
otherwise arranges space for those shipments

• LBC introduced a new method of delivery, the
24 hour or overnight delivery service

•LBC decided on expanding their branches not
only throughout the Philippines, but of foreign
lands
•The first LBC branch outside the country was
established in San Francisco, California in 1985

• LBC has over 60 branches in the United States
and Canada
• LBC Express is known as one of the biggest
courier companies in the Philippines
• LBC soon became a respected leader offering
fast and reliable Express Courier and Money
Remittance service throughout the Philippines
• One of its earliest expansions included a bank,
the LBC Development Bank in 1995, in which
LBC offered banking products

further serve Filipinos. Some of its online
ventures included an online gift shop, Express
Regalo, and an online flower shop, Flowers
Express. LBC Express also founded Digiprint, a
popular photo printing shop which also offers
delivery of photos.

mission is to inspire people by making brands
real) is the main responsible for the changes in
the logo and slogan of LBC.

Changes in LBC’s Logo
The new logo softens the sharp
corners of the old one with curved
type inside a ‘guitar pick’ or shield-
like container. The iconic LBC red
was retained but much of the
original & red while a new tagline
of ‘we like to move it’ reset the tone.
LBC Express has launched a two-
minute ad to show to show that every
parcel the company delivered means
more than its contents to the recipient.
The company has also introduced a
new slogan, ‘We like to move it’ –
which is inspired by the song ‘I like to
move it’ by US house band Reel 2 Real.

meaningful brand. As the biggest
logistics operation they have been
here serving the country for over half
a century. They move not just our stuff
but our hopes and dreams and loves. It
doesn’t get much more meaningful
than that. Our job is to make sure that
that story comes out.”

LBC’s continuous growth in the
domestic market instigated setting
foot overseas. The first LBC branch
outside the country was established
in San Francisco, California in 1985.
Presently, LBC has over 60 branches in
the United States and Canada.
A high number of Filipino migrant
workers have also settled in
neighboring Asian countries. LBC
expanded with four offices in Hong
Kong and eight others strategically
situated in Brunei, Malaysia,
