Prof. Dr. Prakash Raj Regmi (June 30, 1960) is a Senior Cardiologist, professor, entrepreneur and social worker. Dr. Regmi was born at Palpa District of Western Development Region, Nepal. He was raised by his father Kamal Raj Regmi and mother Bimala Regmi. Dr. Regmi received primary school education from Phoolbari Primary School, Tansen, Palpa and passed the School Leaving Certificate (S.L.C) from Padmodaya High School, Kathmandu in 1975. He did Intermediate of Sciences (ISc) education from Amrit Science College in 1977. He completed M.D. (General Medicine) with honors in 1985 from Kharkov Medical Institute, Ukraine.
