Fish Bowl Picture
Cindy was a good mom to her four babies. She always made sure they each got the same
amount to fish feed when it fell from the top of the aquarium. And she always made sure to keep them
away from the deadly filter, that she had lost babies in before. But today is aquarium cleaning day. She
knew this day would come. She knew she was too big to share a fish bowl with her babies. "That's okay.",
she told herself, "Its only going to be for a few minutes." But she was wrong. Her owners had purchased
a new aquarium to make room for more fish, but it had to be installed, and when cleaning day came
around the new aquarium was still not in yet. Still, they separated the fish, just like Cindy had predicted.
Three days went by with Cindy separated from her babies. She grew anxious and weary. She
longed she see her children not through two sheets of glass. By the fifth day she gathered up all her
strength and leaped from her fish bowl to join her babies. She enjoyed that moment for a couple
moments. And that's when her owners came in bewilderment. Cindy expected to be moved back into
her lonely bowl but they simply laughed picked up the one bowl with all of them in it and poured them
into their brand new aquarium.
