I am a team-oriented, organized, enthusiastic and self-motivated research scientist with experience in pancreatic biology, small-molecule screening, laboratory automation, and computational analysis of large datasets, as well as biopharmaceutical cell line and process development. I was trained in molecular, cellular and chemical biology at UC Berkeley (B.A.), Harvard University (Ph.D.) and the Broad Institute. In graduate school, I worked in the field of pancreatic biology on identification (via high-throughput screening) and characterization of small-molecule inducers of insulin expression in pancreatic alpha cells.
