About the Company
Quikr is India’s no.1 online classifieds platform, a place where people can connect with each other to buy or sell goods and services. At Quikr, we have created an
online community which is simple and secure. We are constantly innovating so that users can buy and sell in the easiest and most convenient way possible. We
recognized that getting a fair price could be a hurdle for our customers, and we developed a Maximum Selling Price (MSP) calculator to help users estimate a
reasonable price range. We also pioneered the Missed Call service in India, enabling first time or non internet users in India to give us a missed call so that we can
help them post an ad. This way we aim to make people ‘Quikr’ users, perhaps even before they are internet users
Project Steps
Design and post advertisements in various categories on the online classifieds Cars & Bikes portals in India as a mystery shopper. The list of classifieds
sites will be provided by Quikr.
Record the ad posting experience in terms of "a)Ease of posting b)Site guidance in ad posting c)Site Speed & response while ad posting, image uploads
etc d)Time taken by site for ads to get live e) Post ad engagement by site to consumers via Email, SMS, phone etc (for images, to provide information, to
convert to premium ad etc.)"
Record the responses from interested buyers on timely basis in terms of quality and quantity of no of calls received, SMS queries received, emails received
or contact through any other social platform (ex.Whatsapp). Quality of response would mean the seriousness of the buyer
Collate and analyse the data to create a detailed report consisting of competitor analysis, insights and recommendations.
Report has to be submitted twice a month, i.e. in every 2 weeks. Students are also required to take screenshots of buyers responses received over
mails/chats/SMS/whatsapp etc. Share the screenshots via google drive.
