pulling his offer to buy Twitter. The
billionaire tech executive said on July 8
that he would end the deal because
the company had "breached" their
agreement. Musk said he was
terminating the deal because Twitter
violated the agreement by failing to
respond to requests for information
regarding Twitter fake users or spam
accounts on the platform.

13. Twitter then announced a "poison pill"
strategy the very next day. The
company filed a lawsuit against Elon
Musk in the Delaware Court of
Chancery on July 12, and the trial is set
to begin on October 17.
