❖ To become an Occupational Therapist you first have
to receive your bachelor's in Occupational Therapy
and then after that you spend 2 or 3 years getting
your Master’s degree.
❖ While Taking classes students will have instruction
in occupational therapy theory and skills, physical,
biological, and behavioral sciences. They also have
a 6 month period of supervised on-the-job
experience.

Occupational Therapists???
● Yes, over the next couple of years the outlook for OT
is 29% which is higher than average. The average
growth rate for all occupations is 11%.
● This means that we will always need OT and
possibly need more OT in the future.

their jobs are mostly working with patients.
★ They do how ever use computer, cellphones, and sometimes gaming
systems.
★ Computers are mostly used for organization of patient files and for
communicating between doctors.
★ Cell Phones are only used o communication either between doctors of
with clients.
★ Gaming systems are used to help clients, they use small hand
movements that can help rehabilitate a patient.

doesn’t require sitting behind a desk which sounds
right up my alley, but I don’t know if that is the exact
job I want to do for the rest of my life. I do want to go
in to the medical field I know for sure, but I’m not
positive what exact job.
