A former plant manager at several firms, David William Doan currently works with FedEx as a delivery tech. His position has grown drastically since he initially took on a temporary role with the company, and he handles one of the most successful routes at its Independence, Kentucky, terminal. David William Doan works to improve the quality of activities undertaken at all of his jobs, having developed a quick unload system at FedEx and introduced quality management techniques such as Kaizen, 5S, and lean manufacturing during his previous management positions. Also engaged in philanthropy, Mr. Doan is currently spearheading a project that would help local children get toys for Christmas.
