Mr. Hyder is the Executive Director of the High Point MPO. He is a North Carolina native and holds both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Civil Engineering. His career includes work in state government, consulting, and local government. His work assignments have included materials testing, highway construction, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and transportation planning. As Director of the High Point MPO he reports to a thirteen member board of elected and appointed officials serving a community of approximately 200,000.
