I’ve been a Registered Nurse for most of my adult life. After spending the middle part of my career in medical practice management and consulting, I came back to my first love, direct patient care. While completing studies for my BSN, I became interested in why patients sometimes do not comply with medical advice. This lack of compliance results in poor outcomes for millions of people, and significant financial costs both for patients and for our healthcare system.
