I served 20 years in the U.S. Navy as a Fire Controlman operating, trouble-shooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced radars, computers and integrated weapons systems such as The Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System. I also worked as a Global Command & Control Systems Maritime database manager, as well as trained and mentored many junior technicians. I retired from active duty in 2009 and since that time I have worked as a government contractor in one capacity or another.
