It has a very fine leaf blade that allows it to handle high traffic areas while remaining soft. The grass requires less water and maintenance than other varieties. 2. TIFTUF™ BERMUDA GRASS
TifTuf™ Bermuda grass grown and supplied by Daleys Turf is the product of
almost 25 years of research and development from one of the world’s leading
turf breeders, the University of Georgia. TifTuf™ has been hand selected out of
almost 30,000 different Bermuda varieties for displaying superior qualities in
drought tolerance, shade tolerance (4-5 hours directly sunlight required daily),
wear tolerance and winter colour while, at the same time, maintaining excellent
turf quality.
TifTuf™ has a very fine leaf blade with dense growth, making it ideal for a wide
variety of applications. Its density enables it to handle high wear situations such
as school playgrounds, backyards and sports fields. The fine blade ensures
shade tolerance and a very soft leaf to walk and play on. TifTuf™ Bermuda
grass has been scientifically engineered to produce a great looking year round
lawn with superior quality and minimal maintenance required.

trials, two sports field wear tolerance trials, utilising the Cady traffic simulator,
