I graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science from Dickinson College. During which I studied abroad at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. My studies included the effects of nutrient pollution versus the use of best management practices (in PA farms) on the benthic community of streams. I also partook in an integrated semester, that compared environmental issues in the Chesapeake Bay and Mississippi River watersheds.
I continued my education at American University in Washington, DC, where I received my M.S. in Environmental Science. There I studied the remediation of arsenic in groundwater by implementation of the Chinese Brake Fern on contaminated soil.
