As the Recreation Specialist of the Zigzag Ranger Station, I am writing you in support of
Ms. Cordelia Hao. Ms. Hao worked as a full time Wilderness Ranger Intern for the
Recreation Department on the Zigzag Ranger District for four months. She helped with trail
maintenance, repair, and construction throughout the west side of the forest to ensure
protection of natural resources, while enhancing the recreational resource. Additionally,
much of her time was spent acting as a key customer service representative that educated the
public on wilderness principles. Ms. Hao maintained and input wilderness use data into our
wilderness use database. Her efforts will help us better manage our wilderness in the future.
Cordelia completed this work safely, with perseverance and enthusiasm to learn about our
recreation program and wilderness management. Her key strengths are her ability to work
well with others, adjust to changing priorities and work in a complex program. Ms. Hao
would provide a great amount of strength, confidence and professional knowledge to your
program.
Her ability to learn quickly, work hard, complete projects, and make a positive contribution
