Clara is an economics and marketing major in the Heider College of Business, interested in uniting her two majors to solve the problems preventing freedom and human flourishing at home and abroad. During the spring of 2015, she studied abroad in the Dominican Republic, spending the semester teaching English, learning about the developing business environment, and refining her Spanish (though none of those helped her climb Pico Duarte). It was this experience that ignited her ardor for international development and increasing access to education worldwide.
