I am a Marketing leader who works with professional advisors. I help them communicate in a manner that is unique, but authentic, differentiating so as to challenge perceptions and change how people view accounting and accountants. Working with business advisors is both interesting and challenging. This is because in an industry where competitors offer very similar services and products, being distinct from other firms is crucial to success. The problem for professionals is that they tend to be trained in a homogenized fashion meaning differentiation is not something that comes naturally. That means they are inclined to follow and do the same as others.
