Dr. Chong Chiu graduated from MIT’s Nuclear Engineering Department with a Ph.D. (1977) and a M.S. degree (1976). He taught MIT Summer Safety courses on prevention of programmatic and organizational failures, human performance problems, equipment failures, and safety leadership from 2000-2006. Since 1977 he has led more than 100 high-profile investigations, as well as participating in more than 5,000 in-depth investigations.
