Why the bible
1. Why the Bible?
They say that “Everything happens for a particular reason”, which is also something I believe in
to. So, why the Bible? Hence, it has to have something, a particular reason, more beyond its historical
accounts and words of wisdom. What is it that makes the Bible the “Book and books” and “The Most
Read Book in the World” defeating the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling in a huge gap?
On trends, the author’s name is usually printed with more emphasis, either embossed or in bold,
than the book title itself, like the Duma Key by Stephen King or Death Benefit by _________-
__________________________________. They made it that way to be well-known and hoping to be
eventually entitled “New York Times’ Best Selling Author”. But, there’s always a “but”, scanning the
Bible thoroughly, is there any author’s name indicated? None. Why do you think God made it that way?
Is he just humble enough to not credit the book on His self? On the nominated books for “The Most
Read Book”, only the Bible has no author indicated, yet, it topped over the others. The statistics only
indicates and proves the superiority of the Bible, thus entitling it the “Book of books” ever since then.
The Bible doesn’t need to be written by J.K. Rowling or even Aristotle to be read by most people, but
what God used are inspired and devoted persons to complete His book. You might ask, why didn’t write
it Himself? God didn’t wrote it Himself simply because He didn’t want to be known as an author, but as a
Supreme Being who is omnipotent and omniscient. He don’t want to be known as God the Great author,
or God the Great philosopher or any specific title, He wants to be known for His works upon people, the
miracles, and not for his direct words. Specifically because most of the people lives in the philosophy of
“To see is to believe”. And through the Bible, He can direct us to Him.
