I’m supporter in my ideas by Steven Johnson, who wrote the book “where do all the good ideas come from”, which you can see on ted.com. I’ll share the link later on. In his book, Steven Johnson outlined 7 techniques for getting good ideas.
El 1 de Junio de 1869, Tomas A. Edison patentó por primera vez una maquina electrica de votación. Fue un completo fracaso.
Another technique that Stephen Johnson recommends is Serendipity – The discovery of something fortunate: the accidental discovery of something pleasant, valuable or useful.
While serendipity is a difficult concept to understand at a neurological level, our brain has three states of mind. Awake, asleep and dreaming.
The point is that our neuronal matrix works like a freeway, trying to find the fastest way from one point to another. To generate serendipity, we therefore have to cheat our brains!
Salvador Dali was one person who achieved this well – and used his dreams as inspiration for his paintings. We should trust our intuition when in a dream-like state and a good time to think of new concepts is early in the morning before a cup of coffee. This is a great time to have your notebooks ready.
I hope that you have enjoyed this presentation. Thank you so much for coming and please let me know if you have any questions.
