1. Clean Up Vietnam is a
non-profit organization
addressing the rubbish
in our streets, parks
and waterways.
Our main event is Clean Up Vietnam Day is a
proposed event in April that engages com-
munity groups, businesses, schools and
families to take ownership of sites in their
local community and clean them up. It also
provides education and cultural change
through education and the recognition of
the importance of our local environment.
We work in schools doing presentations and
educationg young people and empower
them to organise their own groups and their
own events and to understand the impor-
tance of a clean environment for their future.
Adopt-A-Spot allows an individual, a busi-
ness, a neighbourhood group, a school, a
youth group, or indeed anyone, to‘adopt’a
designated area in their community (a street,
park, vacant lot, campus, water way, beach
etc.) and commit to keeping it clean over an
extended period of time. We will help you
establish your clean up and create a great
team building exercise.
Already, having started with Clean Up Days in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Pleiku, Can Tho, Ha Tien,
Dalat, Vung Tao, Mui Ne, Nha Trang, Tay Ninh, Hoi An, Hue, Rach Gia, Ha Long Bay, Phu Quoc
and more to come.
Clean Up Vietnam is an organization that
wants to engage and inspire youth, families,
businesses and communities to take action
in changing the way we dispose of our waste
and the way we look at our local community
spaces.
