My most recent book is REMIX STRATEGY: THE THREE LAWS OF BUSINESS COMBINATIONS. Previous books were MASTERING ALLIANCE STRATEGY and THE ALLIANCE REVOLUTION. I have been studying, teaching, and consulting on the strategy of business combinations for thirty years. My work has focused on alliances and multipartner constellations, with special attention to innovation strategy. I've studied business combinations in a range of industries, from information technology and pharmaceuticals to automobiles, airlines, and energy. I'm a professor at the International Business School, Brandeis University and previously was a professor at Harvard Business School. Before that, I was an economist at the
