SUMMARY
I have over 20 years of experience specializing in Configuration and Change Management.
I am highly proficient in identification and evaluation of best practice methodologies and
software for satisfying the objectives of an organization. Capitalizing on standards such as SEI
CMMI processes and procedures, I establish organizational structures which make it possible for
organizations to seamlessly integrate multiple groups and organizations adding a tremendous
return on investment and value added relative to reuse of developed systems and products.
I am an expert in engineering environments with a focus on promoting collaboration amongst all
areas of an organization. I have repeatedly successfully established capabilities that have given
organizations the ability to meet and exceed quality and performance expectations for their
products and operations at a reduction of overall cost and risk to the organization and client.
I possess exceptional skills for leveraging organizational resources and building successful
teams. Adaptability and flexibility are key traits that allow me to capitalize on existing
organizational strengths to design the best fit CM practice in order to establish and improve on
core team knowledge of Configuration and Change methodologies and practices propagated
throughout the organization adding value to the processes put in place and the teams that use
them.
Meticulous program management, process modeling, and business process improvement
disciplines. The processes and procedures I engineer are designed with repeatability, scalability,
and reuse in mind which maximizes long term added value through reduction of one off process
models.
I am a proponent of thorough documentation, records management, status reporting to
management and coordination of activities amongst resources. As a result, I have excellent
written and verbal communication skills.

HIGHLIGHTS:
Technical Expertise:
Linking multiple tool suites in a seamless environment that promotes the ability to design, code, build,
test, and deploy an application within a fully controlled environment with full traceability and
restorability throughout the entire process is a key factor in every CM implementation I have undertaken.
Therefore, I have striven to highly educate myself with an advanced knowledge on Apple, Microsoft,
IBM, and HP product installation, and Integrated Development Environment configuration in support of a
full Project Life Cycle Work Flow model supported by the Best of Breed toolsets available.
Most recently my skills were utilized to establish a fleet of Apple IPads to be used as field devices for
technicians in the field in support of electronic work order management capabilities. This required that I
engineer a Mobile Device Management (MDM) process and procedure to take off the shelf iPads, add
them to a private cellular network, apply a custom configuration established utilizing Apple Configurator
on a MAC and including a Google Authenticator app for 2 factor authentication, then a device
management system to support their distribution and use in the field.
My ClearCase experience encompasses implementation of a fully integrated ClearCase/ClearQuest
Unified Change Management configuration providing the project team with the ability to take full
advantage of the capabilities that true end to end Project Life Cycle Management environment can
provide. This initiative also included full integration with the Mercury test suite with the introduction of
the of the Quality Center Synchronizer which integrates ClearQuest with Test Director.
I have installed and configured UCM projects utilizing all three Web, Windows, and UNIX Clients for
the rational suite, the ClearCase Remote Client, and created multiplatform view configurations within a
single project by utilizing either the Hummingbird Maestro NFS utility or Samba for the Windows
Clients. I have implemented development models that utilize both an individual development stream and
the concept of team streams for more effective collaboration on related work areas. All work was activity
driven with scheduled and user driven delivery of selected activities with associated change sets to the
integration stream for automated baselining, build, packaging, and deployment for promotion to test and
production utilizing both UNIX Scripts and the ANT build utility. I provided additional functionality to
project teams for off site development activity by implementation of the Rational MultiSite Utility for CC
and CQ and implementation of the CC Web client on a UNIX web server. I have also written detailed
instructional documentation on how to login, and setup a specialized integration of development team
stream view via the NT and Web based clients. In addition to establishing expert knowledge and
experience in the implementation, configuration and support of ClearCase and ClearQuest, I have lead
and performed many migration projects involving transition from legacy SCM environments such as
PVCS, VSS, and CVS, among others to a more robust ClearCase and ClearQuest environment.
Benjamin Bradberry
My experience with ClearQuest has been in the implementation and configuration of ClearQuest using
various backend dbs such as Oracle, MS SQL Server 2000, and Access on both UNIX and NT servers
and with Windows, UNIX and NT Web clients. Through CQ Designer I have customized the tool to
serve as a single centralized environment for all project management initiatives including the standard
Change Management practice records such as Defect and Enhancement Requests as well as multiple
added stated record types such as Status, Milestones, Production Support Requests, Risks, and Issues,
Action Items, and Business Transformation. I have added and linked all these record types with special
reference list fields and added additional stateless record types in support of project management
objectives much like the default types of Customer and Project, such as Facility and Payer, and Patient
Account System records in support of a healthcare web application project dealing with electronic billing.
I have configured multiple automated reports within ClearQuest utilizing the Crystal Reports link which
allows users to dynamically generate a custom formatted HTML, PDF, or Word report with a single click
of the mouse. I have added many customized Record and Global Scripts in VB and Perl to control such
things as user access, field permissions record list referencing from other record types, and the newly
added security context field which allowed for allocated specific record viewing by group within a single
project. This allowed for a support type project to utilize a single ClearQuest project to support multiple
clients, each with a restricted view of specific records based on their group and customer record
affiliation.
Management Expertise:
In order to provide the required levels of capability to the organizations that I have been associated with, I
have on many occasions taken on the role as Project Management Office and Quality Assurance process
engineer and advisor. In this role I have incorporated and directed project resources for Project
Administration incorporating formal PMO practices such as project planning, resource management
(estimation and scheduling), status reporting, production support, and issue management. I have
implemented Quality Assurance practices involving such activities as test planning, execution, and
certification, and overall change management related to project scope change requests, defect reporting,
resolution tracking, and retest. I have on many occasions provided support and direction to senior
management, and project staff toward setup and performance of practices such as Change Control Board
operations and the Executive Steering Committee processes and procedures dealing with scope
management, and formal requirements engineering.

Through CQ Designer I have customized the tool to serve as a single centralized environment for all project management initiatives including the standard Change Management practice records such as Defect and Enhancement Requests as well as multiple added stated record types such as Status, Milestones, Production Support Requests, Risks, and Issues, Action Items, and Business Transformation. I have added and linked all these record types with special reference list fields and added additional stateless record types in support of project management objectives much like the default types of Customer and Project, such as Facility and Payer, and Patient Account System records in support of a healthcare web application project dealing with electronic billing. I have configured multiple automated reports within ClearQuest utilizing the Crystal Reports link which allows users to dynamically generate a custom formatted HTML, PDF, or Word report with a single click of the mouse. I have added many customized Record and Global Scripts in VB and Perl to control such things as user access, field permissions record list referencing from other record types, and the newly added security context field which allowed for allocated specific record viewing by group within a single project. This allowed for a support type project to utilize a single ClearQuest project to support multiple clients, each with a restricted view of specific records based on their group and customer record affiliation. Management Expertise: In order to provide the required levels of capability to the organizations that I have been associated with, I have on many occasions taken on the role as Project Management Office and Quality Assurance process engineer and advisor. In this role I have incorporated and directed project resources for Project Administration incorporating formal PMO practices such as project planning, resource management (estimation and scheduling), status reporting, production support, and issue management. I have implemented Quality Assurance practices involving such activities as test planning, execution, and certification, and overall change management related to project scope change requests, defect reporting, resolution tracking, and retest. I have on many occasions provided support and direction to senior management, and project staff toward setup and performance of practices such as Change Control Board operations and the Executive Steering Committee processes and procedures dealing with scope management, and formal requirements engineering.
