Don Leslie Raj Rathod Catriona Cookson
Don is one of BLT’s
founders, and is
responsible for the
Management Consultancy
recruitment team. His
consulting market focus
has changed over the years
from government to
strategy to technology
transformation to public
finance. He is currently
overseeing the hiring of
consultants in the
economics and
international development
space, and also works with
BLT’s business school
partners to promote
management consultancy
as a career for MBAs. Don’s
Clients range from top and
second tier strategy houses
through to boutique firms.
Raj joined BLT in July 2012
after working five years
for a specialist
management consultancy
and corporate advisory
recruitment company.
After graduating from
Brunel University with a
degree in Biomedical
Sciences, Raj joined one of
London’s biggest finance
recruitment firms where
he learnt his trade. Raj is
currently focused on the
corporate advisory space
working with large
consultancy firms, in-
house teams and specialist
boutiques in a range of
sectors.
Catriona graduated from
Glasgow University with a
2.1 in Economic History.
Working her way south, she
sampled life as an auditor
with Ernst & Young in
Manchester before moving
to London and into
recruitment. After 7 years
with a leading financial
recruitment consultancy she
joined The Institute of
Chartered Accountants
recruiting externally for
clients and internally for
senior technical roles.
Catriona joined BLT in 2004
and focuses on Programme
and Project Management,
Transformation and Change
and IT Advisory roles across
both external consulting
firms and internal consulting
teams.
Tariq Siraj
After spending six years
recruiting in the
management consultancy
field in London and also in
Singapore across the Asia-
Pacific region, Tariq
joined BLT in June 2014.
He graduated in Politics
from Reading University
and in International
Security from King’s
College London and began
his career as a political risk
broker in the Lloyd’s
Insurance Market . Tariq
then moved into
recruitment and at BLT
focuses on the Operations
Improvement market,
working with major
corporate and
management consultancy
clients.
Anwar Taali
After graduating from the
University of Cambridge
with a 2:1 in Law in 2009,
and then gaining a
Masters in Human Rights
and International
Development at the
University of Nottingham,
Anwar completed the
retail graduate scheme at
Marks and Spencer . He
joined BLT in March 2014
after working within the
business strategy team at
Marks and Spencer and is
able to draw on this
industry experience. At
BLT Anwar focuses on:
Business Strategy, Retail,
Brand & Marketing and
Growth & Innovation.

Standard Rates
Our standard fee rate is 25% of base salary.
We recognise that this might be at a higher rate than some
of our mainstream competitors and so we are flexible on
this particularly to work with clients with whom we have
enjoyed a good, longstanding and mutually supportive
relationship.
Exclusivity Rates
In return for exclusivity our fee rate is 20% of base salary.
This would include branded advertisement (if required) at
no additional cost.
