Consortium
ABOUT CONSORTIUM
A contract between to two or more entrepreneurs to
finalize the organization and regulate and improve fixed
phases of theirs company.

The entrepreneurs that work in the consortium persist to
do some phases by them-self and some phases adopting
the rules of the consortium; thanks to that, they can strike
down the production costs and increase the setup of
theirs company.
WHY WE SHOULD AGREE AT A
CONSORTIUM?
• the consortium has been created to realize things that single
company are not able to do by their own.

• unlike of companies, the object of the consortium is not only
to make profit but it is also to do something to make a win
win situation for all the companies of consortium.

• it is a membership corporation so that companies that agree
can not redeploy theirs profits ( this rule has been explained
in a statute to obtain fiscals' spoils contributions' facilitation).
SOME CONVENIENCES
As a member of the consortium you can:

• optimize the supplying to allow to realize scale economies and achieve low
prices.

• to reduce prices for members, so that prices are cheaper than at the commerce.

• to manage promotional activities

• to allocate their goods better.

• to award contracts.

• to implement bigger investments in order to disaggregate the costs. Thanks to
that the costs can be workable.
THREE KINDS OF
CONSORTIUM
FIRST TYPE
Anticompetitive Consortium:

corporated, primarily or exclusively, to purpose the
regulation of mutual market competition between
entrepreneurs ( preventing that there will be
established between their relationships with high
competition and monopolies ) .
SECOND TYPE
Consortium with outdoor activities:
This case establishes that one or more (but not all) companies unify their
processes.( phases that, prior to the conclusion of the agreement , the companies
held individually or did not play at all).

The last purpose of consortium participants is to make a mutual benefit, indeed to
make a cost saving for each single company.

The presence of a consortium with outdoor activity is incase that the contract
provides an establishment with an office, intended to carry out the activities with
third parties .
THIRDTYPE
Consortium with internal activities:

Unlike to other kind of consortiums there is a commons' organization.

Predetermineted to realize consortiums' purpose and not working with
the third parties but only working with members of the consortium.

It is associative contract that has relevance only for the members of the
consortium.

The members and the enterpreneur have reciprocal onus.
In the italian region there are 18673 consortiums,
whereof:

241 relating  transport;

91 relating road transport;

66 relating logistic;
