Atef Abou Merhi is the managing director and a founding member of Pelagic Partners. Through his family-owned Abou Merhi Group he is a second-generation shipowner and a seasoned shipping professional. Atef is also a board member at Golden Energy Offshore Services. This publicly listed company is one of the world’s most energy-efficient and flexible fleets, serving the oil and gas and renewables offshore industry. He holds a BSc degree with honours in Ship and Port Management, an MBA and a diploma with merit in Ship Finance.
