The Middlesex County Wavell Wakefield Cup is a historic New Zealand national club rugby 7s tournament. It was originally gifted to New Zealand in 1950 by Middlesex County. In 2011, the Army team Burnham won the cup in Dunedin in the aftermath of the Christchurch earthquake. This helped revive the tournament as a true national championship. In 2017, Pakuranga ran away with the title, beating Covenant Brothers 33-19 in the final held in Auckland.
