This week’s highlight – Positions in Environmental Affairs
The World Environment Day was
celebrated on 5 June. The theme for
2017, ‘Connecting People to Nature’,
which was thought by the United
Nations to invite people to get
outdoors and into nature, to
appreciate its beauty and to think
about how we are part of nature and
how intimately we depend on it.
Every World Environment Day has a
different global host country, where
the official celebrations take place.
This year it was Canada which has
created a special website for this
occasion. Within this framework, this
week we are highlighting some
