Campaign Strategies and Management:
- Developed campaign plans and material around precarious work and working conditions at:
1. Organised hotels in India as part of the global campaign for housekeepers’ dignity and
health rights
2. Industrial canteens in southern India
3. Tuna fishing industry in the Philippines in collaboration with SENTRO and
International Transport Workers’ Federation
Training and Leadership Programs:
- Developed training modules and conducted training programmes with workers at organised
hotels, cooperative dairies, industrial canteens and the agricultural sector towards building
union strength through organising precarious workers
Company research and analysis:
- Conducted strategic corporate research on specific multinational companies and hotels to
build an organising plan; initiated contact; and documented working conditions at targeted
unorganised companies and hotels.
- Prepared company profiles with thorough research on aspects of its ownership structure,
policies, supply chains depicting important areas for intervention/leverage
International Human Rights:
- Studied in-depth the OECD guidelines, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human
Rights and Universal Declaration of Human Rights
- Analysed and prepared company/unit specific international human rights violations reports
